SEMI CLASSICAL BHARATNATYAM - Nidhi Joshi

CLASS DESCRIPTION:

Nidhi's class explores movements inspired by classical forms such as Bharatanatyam. Welcoming people of all ages and levels and dance styles, if you have ever wanted to get a taste of an Indian classical style, this fusion class would be perfect.

BIO:

Nidhi Joshi has been training in dance for over 20 years. Starting her venture with contemporary and kathak, continuing to persue her passion for dance through Bharatanatyam; training in the UK as well as in Chennai, India. She has regularly been teaching classes for 10 years, in Bharatanatyam, bollywood, and folk, and has performed nationally and internationally. Her freelance work enables her to enjoy delivering workshops and working on passion projects, the latest being an exhibition called "Gujarat to Golden Mile" through Nupur Arts Youth Association. Nidhi's achievements include being invited to Berlin for ITB representing Gujarati tourism, being a featured dancer in the Curve Theatre production "Bollywood Jane", and most recently being featured in Marvel Studio's Eternals as a Bollywood dancer.
