CONTEMPORARY - Andre Rebelo

CLASS DESCRIPTION:

The class will be fast paced, explosive and full of energy, playing with relationship between gravity and momentum in order to manipulate the body through space. Although the class is release based, it is also influenced by Andre’s background of commercial and his time with Jasmin Vardimon Company, adding elements of strong and fierce dynamics on top of the movement. As well as the above the class will incorporate the use of imagery, details, stamina and breath.

BIO:

Andre Rebelo graduated from Trinity Laban in 2014 & JV2 in 2015. He has performed with the Royal Opera house in 2016 & 2017. Andre is a company dancer with Jasmin Vardimon Company 2017- present and is the current course leader of JV2. Andre also currently works as a rehearsal director for Jamsin Vardimon Company. Andre is the Artistic Director & Choreographer for his company, Rebelo Dance Company.
