This class encourages to find versatility within the technique through introducing contemporary work, modern music and space for individuality and artistry to be explored in a relaxed and enjoyable environment.
BIO
Hannah is a freelance dance artist, teacher and choreographer based in the UK. Born in Leicester, Hannah trained and competed nationally in various dance techniques at Dupont Dance Stage School. After graduating from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance with a First-Class BA Hons in Contemporary Dance she became an Apprentice Dancer with Phoenix Dance Theatre. During this time, she had the opportunity to perform and tour their latest work 'Black Waters' and gained her Master of Arts Degree with a Distinction. Other highlights in her career include being a former Jazz Dance World Champion and appearing on BBC Young Dancer 2019 as a Contemporary category Finalist which premiered on BBC 4.Hannah teaches dance workshops and regular classes around the UK for multiple dance studios, primary schools and Sixth - Form Colleges.She is also a lecturer at De Montfort University. She is in the process of co-choreographing a new work that will be performed at The Place, London in June and with an evolving interest in researching Mindfulness in Dance hopes to begin her PHD in the near future.
